UEA/ Fall Break...

We decided to play the day away on Friday while the kids were out of school. We started off with a trip to Dunford donuts and Jamba Juice for breakfast. Than we headed up to Park City and walked around the Olympic Ski area. Than we took the kids and picked up some more pastry treats from this fun mexican restaurant that we like in Heber and went to a park and played around until it was time to go ride  the Heber Creeper Train. They had a little thing where you could pick a pumpkin and go through a scary train cart. It was cute. Than we ate at the Dairy Queen!
                                           What a fun Fall Day!

Primary Program 2013...

We had our Primary Program today! Cole and Dailey both had their parts memorized. When Dailey got up she said the first part and than got stuck for a second but than finished great! Cole said his very quick and good too.
There was a song that the kids signed as they sang but Cole did not, when I asked him why he didn't  he said that he couldn't remember all the actions so he wasn't going to do any.
I love hearing the kids sing the beautiful primary songs and the great message the songs teach us!

Tayson's Smash Cake...

Boy did Tays ever like his cake! He attacked it and was grabbing it by the handfuls and shoving it into his cute little face! He really is our first child to do this! Way to go Tayson!

Happy 1st Birthday Tayson....

Happy 1st Birthday Tay Tay!
We love you so much! We love this little guy so much.
He brings so much happiness to our family. He makes us laugh so hard.
When we put on music he starts waving his hands and sometimes he will turn side to side. He loves to laugh and if the kids are wrestling you can bet he is on his way crawling over to get in on the action. He has been through a lot with his first year of life. But he is a trooper. He has taken rsv, and falling down the stairs, and climbing out of the crib, and falling on his head all well! (man that sounds like some bad parents) ha ha.
He just got his first tooth last week and than two more followed this week!
We love this little boy to pieces and are so glad he came to our family!

11 Years Later...

We just celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary. It was on a wednesday. Which was packed with helping in Cole's class and soccer games that evening, so we didn't really find much time to go out on a date. We ended up having a work meeting with my parents and than they took our kids while we ran to the Apple store.  We thought we would have time to go out to lunch but we had to cruise back and pick Cole up from school.

It was a good day! Kevin got up and made breakfast. He also had flowers and a few treats on the counter with a sweet note when I got home from helping in Cole's class.

I sure love him and I can not imagine my life without him. He makes me laugh often, and is so perfect for me. He even had us watch our wedding video which we hadn't seen in years.
I wanted to find a wedding picture but this is a picture of a Bed and Breakfast we stayed at I think on our 1st wedding Anniversary.

Conference Weekend...

Saturday we went to soccer in the morning and came home and listened to conference while Kevin worked on installing our storm door.  We had all my family over for priesthood session hangout and we had chocolate fondue and cheese fondue.

Sunday Morning Kevin started our tradition of Cinnamon Rolls and we let the kids help!
Conference was so good and I can wait to go back and listen to the talks.

Tayson's first tooth...

Tayson will be 1 next week and he just barely got his first tooth!
He has been pretty grumpy and it looks as if there are several more wanting to cut through but so far just the one has come in. It is his bottom left tooth.

He is such a fun little boy we can't wait to celebrate his birthday!

Dailey Scored a Goal...

My Mom called and asked when Dailey was having a game and we said right now. We will come and pick you up. So we headed to get grandma and go to Day's game.

On our way over I told Dailey that if she played really hard I thought she could score a goal. She said "I don't think I can do it" I told her how fast of a runner she is and I knew she could do it!

She than told me how she didn't like to kick the ball and hurt the other kids. It is pretty crazy in there with all those kids around the ball. I explained about her shin guards and that everyone would be fine.

So I thought I might pull out a bribe. I told her if she scored a goal we would take the whole family out for ice cream!! She got all excited and said she would TRY. Grandma gave her a big pep talk too!

She got out there and she was aggressive and really tried hard to know where the ball was and she ran hard and had some really great kicks.

We told Cole he better cheer Dailey on because if she scored we all got ice cream. So when she came out for a break he called her over and he said okay Dailey run and he had her run and he was coaching her. It was so cute and funny.

It was getting to the end of the game and I turned to my Mom and Kevin and said we have to take her out for ice cream anyway. She has played so hard.  Just than she was in the right place at the right time and the ball came over by her and she gave it two good kicks and into the goal it went!!!
She was so excited!! Our whole team was so excited! We don't get very many goals. It may have been only our second goal all season. Her coach said run give your mom a hug!
She ran over and hugged us all and than ran back on the field. They did one more play and than the game was over!!

We went out to Leatherby's!

Later Dailey said, "when you guys are proud of me it make my cheeks go real big" ha ha. She couldn't stop smiling!
