Grandma and Grandpa Bush came over and watched our kids and they made airplanes with the kids!      They loved it and wanted to hang them up!

Coleman's sports...

We just finished Jr. Jazz for Cole. I coached his little team. It was a fun season! We are now on to wrestling. A sport we probably wouldn't have picked but his buddies were doing it and they have a lot of fun! His first wrestling meet is coming up and he goes against other schools!

Valentine's a year ago..

Happy Valentine's Day...

                                                                   I love Valentine's!

Thursday night while kevin and I watched the olympics I set the table for our Valentine's breakfast.
I put our valentine's mailbox by each person's plate and wrote each person a note why we love them and how grateful we are to have them in our family!
Our breakfast menu was waffles with heart shaped whip cream and strawberries. We also had sausage and hot cocoa with whip cream from a can. The kids loved the can and adding more whip cream to their waffle! It was a fun little morning with my favorite people in the world. When Lucy(2) walked out and saw the table she said oooh Pretty!!

Cole went to school with his valentine's box he decorated with Kevin the night before while I was at young women basketball. He wanted a creeper (mind craft) box but than said no I want it to be plain. We told him he needed to decorate it so they duct taped the whole thing and added stickers!
Dailey had her valentine party for preschool yesterday and she gave them all play dough!
I helped out in at her party. It is so fun to see her interact with other kids and see how she does in a school setting. I could watch her all day. She is so cute!
Lucy also has play dough to give her cousins!

Our Lasagna is for dinner tonight. I love spending Valentine's with our family so tonight our plans our to have a candlelight dinner together and than play games and watch a movie!

I may also take the kids this afternoon and go draw hearts on a few people's driveway and give them a heart attack!

Tomorrow Kevin and I have my Mom and Dad coming over to watch our kids and we are going to chaperone a youth dance. Hopefully we can sneak away and get a bite to eat and count that for our valentine's date!

Tayson's bball...

Tayson Loves to play basketball. We have a little hoop that was given to Cole and he sits and shoots and it is so fun to watch him. He is getting so big!

Homemade Playdough...

We made our own play dough from a recipe Amber gave us. It was so easy.

Cole's Dermatologist appt...

Cole has been dealing with these bumps under his right arm and knee for awhile now. Maybe since summer. His pediatrician told us to use this certain lotion and said to try and put apple cider vinegar  on the bumps. She said there was medicine but the insurance company wouldn't cover it. So we tried the vinegar for a bit but it didn't seem to help. So we went to a dermatologist. He said it was mollescum and he could treat it in his office but we would have to come back several times. Well the first pic is before they treated it and after they swelled up really big and it was quite painful for the poor boy. We hope to get rid of them soon! Kevin was out of town when we went but the next day we kept him home from school because they were hurting him!

Lizzy's 30th Birthday...

We went to Liberty Park for Lizzy's 30th birthday party. We made her a shirt and water bottles that said Love-30. We had sweat bands for everyone and played for a bit. Anytime someone had the score Love-30 they got to run and pick a treat from a bag. It was a fun little party to welcome her to her thirties!
After we went to smash burger for dinner and celebrated all the January birthday's! It was a fun evening out!

Lizzy throws a favorites party every year! I love going to her parties! She always puts on great ones. We all brought one item of our favorite thing and brought enough for the whole group.
 She had great food and these cute bags to put all our favorite things in!
We spent the evening talking about our favorite things. Like our favorite quick recipe, favorite app, favorite makeup, favorite cleaning supply.

It was such a fun party and I love that she does it in January!

Tayson 15 Month Doctor Appt..

Tayson's 15 month doctor appointment went great! He is in 50% for height and 25% for weight.
He had to get shots. He had a bit of a cold so they suctioned him out while we were there. It reminded me of last year when we were in the hospital on valentine's day with his RSV.
We are so blessed to have such a healthy happy boy!

Trader Joe's...

I have heard about Trader Joe's and so I wanted to go and see what all the hype was about.
Kevin and I took our kids with us and they had these little baskets for kids to drive around. The kids loved it. But it did make it hard to shop around. I was too busy making sure they didn't take out the cute grandma down the aisle and watching the glares I got from the granola people that shop there. That's a bit sterotypical of me but they were giving some glares!
After Kevin and I left we started talking how we didn't think the store was anything great.
Than we got home and tried a few of our purchases. Okay so the Cookie Butter totally worth it!! I love it so much I will just grab a spoon and eat it for a treat!

New Year's Eve...

We had a great New Year's Eve and Day!
The Bush family was all coming to our home for the new years bash.
Kevin was at work and the kids wanted something to do so we created a balloon drop upstairs and downstairs we did a ball drop with those little balls they put in ball pits. It was fun to make.
Lucy and Tayson didn't make it to midnight but Cole and Dailey did!
We had lots of fun playing bingo and candy bar craps.
Creig and Mindy made some awesome noise makers and cute little 2014 glasses!

The next morning we had the Dearden family over for a yummy Breakfast! It was a great way to kick of the new year!

Zoo Lights...

During Christmas break we were given tickets to go to zoo lights. We took hot cocoa with us and went and saw the animals. Well the few we saw. It was cold and we didn't see too many. But we had fun!
