Our Six Month Baby Girl!

This past week Dailey turned 6 months old! Wow. Where did the time go. She is such a fun baby. I took her and Cole into the doctor for her 6 month and his 3 year old visit. The doctor checked her and she had a double ear infection. Poor girl!
Dailey had to get shots in both legs. I thought Cole just had to get the mist (flu) but they were out. So in the leg for him too.
He was brave though. They both cried for a second, which made me want to cry.
Here are some pictures we took. Coleman took some, which kept him entertained while waiting.

Sunbeam

Cole is now our little Sunbeam! I can not believe he is in primary. It is so crazy. The whole month of December we were trying to prepare Coleman for leaving nursery and joining the big kids in primary. I have been excited to have him join me in primary but I do know the things he will miss.
No more Toys!
No more Snacks!
He did great though! He sat with his little class, right between two cute little girls. Where they blew on each others face throughout sharing time. We will have to work on that :)
He sure is full of energy but we sure love him and would not want it any other way.
He is a darn cute sunbeam!

Recap of December and Christmas Day

December was such a fun month. We had our "daily stockings" that the elf would leave if we were good the day before. Cole would run out each morning and say "look what Santa left us". There were a few days that the stockings were empty.
I thought it would be fun to wrap some of the gifts we bought for the cousins and put under the tree. Boy was that a mistake. Here I thought it would get Cole excited. Well he asked everyday, and what seemed like every minute to open them up. Live and Learn right!

Cole got pink eye this month and than both Dailey and Cole got pretty bad coughs and colds. They both were sick on Christmas day. Poor kids. But we still joined both families that day and shared our germs. We also got to talk to Jimbo on the phone.
Even though we were a little sick it was a nice day!

Bush Family Progressive Dinner

Every year we do our Christmas Progressive Dinner. We have good food and go from house to house. I look forward to this especially since we know there will be a visit from the big fella in red and Mrs. Clause too! Santa calls each kid up and talks about how they have been that year and what they are up to. They are able to tell him what they want for Christmas. Cole did not know what to ask for. He just kept licking his lips.

We sing songs and than Santa will read a book about the true meaning of Christmas! What a great time. Thanks fam!

Winter Wonderland!

I loved that it snowed yesterday and I did not have anywhere to go so I said...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
We decided to make homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. Yum. The only problem is that we made it around lunch time and so we (Cole and I) kept picking at the noodles throughout the day.
We also made mini corn bread muffins to go with our dinner. Love Cold winter nights with something warm to eat.

Dearden Family Dinner

We had dinner here on Sunday evening with the Dearden Family. We ate, played the bells as we sang Christmas songs, did a kids craft and also played some games. It was a fun night. Thanks Fam for the fun night! Also a tradition that Kevin's parents do every year is they give a Christmas book to all the families. This year it was "Paddington and the Christmas Surprise". Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Dearden!

BYU vs. Utah

We went to the last BYU game. This season has been so fun to go as a family to the games. We only bought two tickets. We would trade between Cole and I going to the games. We also had a few games where we all got to go. The BYU Utah game was one that we all went to. We still had our mini van rental so we loaded up and dressed real warm! We painted the sides of the van in blue paint. It made the drive down so fun. Cougar fans would drive past cheering. Than U fans would drive past and give us thumbs down. We loved it. We love the friendly rivalry kind.

Way to go Cougars!
The following day I had thrown the BYU ticket stubs in the garbage, and later that night Cole had found them and came running into the room yelling "who throwed these away?" I said. "Well I did." Cole-" Mom don't do that-we save these" and he put them on the fridge. I guess we save them!
