Welcome Home Elder Bush...

Last Wednesday we welcomed home the favorite brother Joseph... I mean Jimmy. We have teased that Jimmy is the favorite and that he gets special treatment. Well he came home from serving 2 years in the Atlanta Georgia mission.
It was so good to see him. He looked great and I realized how much we missed that kid while he was gone. He is just one of those people ya always want around.

I have realized how much the Lord blesses families while they have a missionary out serving. I am so grateful for Elder Bush serving, it has been so good for our family, and especially Cole to be able to pray for him and know about missions.

In fact a few nights after Jimmy got home, Cole was praying and said please bless Jimmy on his...than he looked at me. I said you can bless the other missionaries. Cole said "there are NO More Missionaries"!!!!

Jimmy Welcome Home! We love you.

Father's Day...

I took all three kids shopping to Khols for Father's Day gifts. Man I so badly want to be able to handle going shopping with three kids and having everything go so smooth. Nope not the case, not yet anyway. I have high hopes though. Guess that is a post in and of itself.

I am so grateful for the Father's in my life. I have an amazing father who has taught me many things. I am so grateful to him in providing for me while growing up. He was and still is such a hard worker. I am not sure if I know of anyone who works harder than he does.
I am also blessed to have a wonderful father in law. Both of these men are such great examples to me.

My biggest blessing in my life is the father of my own kids. Kevin is such a great Father. The kids absolutely adore him. He makes time for them and is always so fun to be around.
Man did I score big when I married this guy!
Happy Father's Day!

Dearden Family Fun...

Kevin's sister Leslie came to visit. We had so much fun while they were here. We felt like we were on a vacation as well. We BBQ, hit In and Out a few times, went to movies, and a Real soccer game, played in a few croquet games (one ending in a trip to the ER for Rachel), went to Tucanos, and celebrated a few birthdays. Man did we have some fun. It was so fun to get to know her beautiful girls and see what it is like having them as the oldest of the cousins.
Thanks for the good times Dearden Family!

Newborns...

This summer has been kicked off with three new baby girls in the Dearden Family.
Kevin's sister had her baby in April and than we had our little one in May and than his other sister had her baby in June.
It is so fun to all be having babies at the same time.

Lucy 1 Month...

Happy 1 Month Lu Lu!
Lucy was not very happy and it was bed time but I needed a few pics before the day was out for her one month birth. So this is what I got. Please someone have pity on me and teach me a thing or two of how to take a good picture. Or I will have to resort to reading the manual to my camera!

We Love Lucy...

Wow Lucy is a month old! We sure love that little baby girl. I love how sweet Cole and sometimes Day is with her. :) I say sometimes on Dailey because she likes to touch her eyes and than she will put her feet on her and throw blankets on her too. Actually the first week or two, Dailey did not really touch her or pay much attention to her. Now she is all over her. I know she isn't trying to hurt her but she sometimes smothers her with a little too much love.
I am just trying to teach her how to be soft.
People ask us how Dailey has handled having the new baby and really she has done quite well for having her little world rocked. Seriously, we have babied her. She has been a little more dramatic than usual. Also she has started getting into things ( which I think could also relate to her age) creating little disaster clean ups each day. I do recall with Cole going through these same disaster clean ups too so it probably is just the age and they are exploring!
I do think it is fun to see Dailey's little legs covered in marker or pen!

Little Kickers Spring 2011

Cole played on a fun little soccer team. Their names were the little kickers. It was so fun to see all those cute little ones out on the field. He sure loves to play. Even if half the time he is just chasing his friends around. He has improved since the beginning of the season.
