Kid Book Club...
I decided to do a little book club with my kids where I pick a book that week and we read it together and make a snack or a treat centered around the book.
They were excited to do this. We picked a very simple book. It was about ducks and the mother duck made apple pie. So we made Apple Pie.
We had a great Monday evening. We took all the kids around the church where Cole practiced riding his bike. He is doing so well. Kevin is so patient and great at teaching him.
We than came home for a short lesson on being a good friend and ate the apple pie we made.
Sure love Monday nights.
My Birthday and a Camping weekend..
I Celebrated my 31st Birthday on last Thursday. It was a good day! We met my family at cafe rio for lunch and than went and walked around gardner village. Also the night before Kevin took me out and took me to this awesome mexican restaurant in Heber. It has a salsa bar and it was such a cute little place. It was so fun just to drive and talk and just be the two of us.
Than later that evening on my birthday, we loaded the car for a little camping weekend up in Huntsville.
We camped at a campground right by Pineview Reservoir called Anderson Cove.
We had some friends up with us who took us boating. It was a fun weekend. I tried for my first time ever wake boarding and I actually got up! It was so much fun. It was such a thrill to get up. It took me quite a few tries to get up but I loved it. The people we went with were so patient and nice to let us try it. Kevin of course, gets up his first time trying to wake board. He is really quite good at it. It was fun to see him attempt a jump too. Cole rode the tube and even tried to water ski. It was so much fun.
Friday night we ate at a place called Huntsville BBQ Company. It was so yummy. The loaded mashed potatoes were my fav.
It is so fun to see how much my kids love to camp. It makes all the packing and unpacking well worth the work and effort it takes to just go for a weekend.
We came back sore and tired but Boy did we have a good time. We kinda like the lake and boating and huntsville.

Lucy ears are pierced...
We took Lucy on Saturday August 6th to get her ears pierced. We went to Claire's after our nephews baptism (why Kevin is all dressed up) and got her ear's done.
I of course made Kevin hold her and I took some pictures.
She did really well and only cried for a second. Even though some of the pictures look like she was in a ton of pain. The lady doing it did a great job. She said baby's don't like to be restrained and so they cry more from you holding them tight than from the actual piercing.

Bear Lake 2011...
We decided to head up to Bear Lake a day early and stay in a little place right in Garden City. We packed Thursday night so that we could leave early Friday morning. Cole was so excited. I think Dailey was too even though she did not really know what was going on. She did see the treats we were packing and that can get a smile on her face.
We went through Logan canyon and stopped at the cheese factory in Logan where Kev and the kids went in to see if they do tours while I stayed in the jeep to feed Lucy. No tours but they did come out with some squeaky cheese and chocolate milk.
Since we had all the time to spare we stopped at this look out point. I don't think I have stopped at a look out point since I was a kid. It was fun to let the kids stretch their legs and get some silly pictures too.
We got to garden city and first thing was first we ate at La Baue's for lunch. Than we found beach access at the park. So we let the kids play in the water and sand for awhile. Than it was time to check into our little run down room at the travel lodge, right across from the church. It was not the nicest place but not too bad either. It was also pretty fun just to be right in town. That night we ate again at La Baue's for dinner with my parents, Jim and Mel, The Boyers, and Amber, Garr and Maddie.
I sure love all those little homes by the lake. It is so fun to walk through and see them all.

Dailey is TWO...
Dailey turned two on July 20th! We started the morning off with opening a few presents and than Dad went off to work and we went and looked at parade floats at the south town expo center.
We than came home for naps and to get ready to go to the bounce house. Than we had planned to have family over for cake and ice cream later that evening. It was such a fun day.
Dailey got this Kitty Cat. She actually picked out at toys r us. She would not let that cat go. She dragged it all over the store and would not let anyone help her with it.
So we are now pet owners to a fake cat which actually looks real and meows and scares the crap out of you when you walk past it at night. (Cats can be pretty creepy) She loves it, just the same.
Dailey is such a sweet girl. We love her so much. She has the funnest little personality. She loves to play tackle with her brother and Dad. She loves to watch movies and man does she love treats and milk too.
We love our little Day Day!
