It was Cole's First day of school yesterday! He was so excited to go to Mrs. Amber's class. We took pictures outside our house, and than we strapped the girls in the stroller, and we walked two streets over to where Cole will now be going MWF from 9-11am.
We got over to her house and I told Cole I wanted to take a few more pictures and he said "oh Mom, not again". He was excited but totally played it cool.
The other kids were telling their Mom's goodbye and Cole could not wait to walk through the gate and down to his classroom. He was the first one in with not as much of a glance back at Mom.
Okay well I love you. I shout to him.
No tears were shed on my part until about 10 Minutes later when I realized what this all meant.
Say Goodbye to...
Just the influence from family, not having anywhere we HAVE to be at on a regular basis.
I started to realize, Yes this is only preschool but than it's Kindergarten and than it's always school and I will NEVER have the time I have had with just my Three little ones ALL to myself with no school and outside things to distract from our little life together. Oh how I have loved that.
I have to say I am excited to start this new thing in our life too. It isn't all sadness.
I loved how right when I picked him up he couldn't wait to tell me how it was. He is so animated when he tells his stories. He had a great first day. I know he will learn so much. Even though a part of me thought, oh man, I should have kept him one more year to myself. He is so smart he doesn't need preschool. But I think it will be a neat experience for him.

Car Wash and Cleaning day...
I love having my kids help me wash the car. It is a perfect activity to do when it is warm and keeps them nice and busy and wet!
Dailey...
Cute little Dailey in her brother's shirt. Such a cute photo even though it is just with the camera on the phone.
Time Out for Day Day...
She is starting to be quite mischievous and is having a hard time listening to Mom and Dad.
Here she is putting her nose in the corner. She thought it was funny.

Bush Family 2nd Annual Food Fight...
On Labor Day we had our 2nd Bush Family Food Fight. It was super Gross and super Fun!
We included some old food storage this year, which made for some pretty nasty smelling concoctions.
We started out buy asking Jimmy questions (a little birthday thing) and decided that no matter his answer he was always wrong and we got to choose what food item to smear on his face. After that it was a free for all with everyone running and throwing and sliding around in the food. Dailey did not participate but I was proud of Cole! He did join in the fun. I was surprised because last year he wanted nothing to do with it and thought we were crazy. He is a boy who does not like to be sticky. Yet he held his own!
Such a great time. Too bad I didn't even have my camera to capture the event. Luckily others had their camera. ( Our new charger should be here this week :)

Maddie's Birthday...
For my niece's birthday we did a giant slip n slide in the park behind her house. It was so much fun going down a big hill with water. It was nice on a hot summer day!
