Pumpkin Patch with the Preschool...

Cole had his first field trip with his preschool. It was to the pumpkin patch. We were ready early and headed out. But Mom accidentally went to the wrong pumpkin patch. Who knew there was two so close to each other. So we ended up having to catch up to his class. They already went through the corn maze. But we caught up to them before the hayride and picking pumpkins. Cole was so nice about us being late too. He said it's ok Mom. He made me feel better.

It was fun to see him interact with his little friends.

Happy Halloween...

Well Kevin is out trick or treating with Cole and Dailey.  Lucy and I are here at home passing out candy and blogging. Cole is four and Day is two so we will see how long there little legs last. Because, it won't be the weather bringing them home early this year.  My word, it was such a nice day today. It has been the nicest Halloween I can remember.

It has been a fun day. We took Cole to preschool with some treats and than went and picked him up and headed to Dad's work for a visit. We than visited both grandparents houses and came home to carve pumpkins.
It has been a great Halloween!

Artic Circle Run...

When dinner doesn't turn out what do you do?
I warned Kevin on the phone that dinner didn't really turn out. I was trying to make funeral potatoes, when I realized that those are kind of a side dish, and we needed a main dish.  I decided to add some ground beef to make them into a main dish. They would have turned out if I had given up on the idea of the funeral potatoes. But no. I had to add the corn flakes to the mess. Well after that they just tasted plain gross.
Kevin got home and lifted up the lid on the crock pot and started to laugh hard. Which made me laugh really hard too. It reminded me of when we were first married and I would throw away dinners that were gross, before he even got home. :) So We ran to Artic Circle close by. The kids were happy.
The picture below is not dinner. We were making cupcakes for pack meeting the next day and I let them lick the bowl after I was done. What a yummy mess!

Nine Years...

I couldn't let my anniversary of nine years slip by without posting about it. I am not great with words and this blog helps me to realize that! :)
However, I am so lucky to be married to Kevin. He is such an awesome guy.

I could go on and on, but remember I am not good with words. So I will post some pics. Kevin it has been THE Best nine years ever! I love you.

Conference Weekend & Brighton Family Fun...

We spent conference weekend up at Brighton with the Bush family. It was so fun to be gathered together with family to listen to the words of our church leaders. We always have a good time up there. We took hikes around the lake and played games and just hung out.

We did a few games with prizes. We had pictures of the apostles and church leaders hung around the room and you had to go and name as many as possible. We also did a talent show. I think a family talent show is such a fun idea. It gives the kids a chance to get up in front of people and perform. Even if it is just a little thing. Cole showed his double jointed ability. Dailey danced. We got up, and placed a fruit loop on our nose and demonstrated our incredible talent by trying to catch it in our mouth.
There were some skits and songs also.

It was so fun to sit and watch conference all together. I will have to catch up on the talks where I was distracted by this or that.
But I just love how my parents make it a priority and make it so fun for my kids. They always make them a conference bag with treats and games to play while listening to conference.

Thanks Bush gang for a fun weekend.
