Let the Summer Begin...
We pulled out the pool today. Oh, how I love summer! I love hanging out in our yard and seeing how much fun these kids have. We didn't put Lucy in a swimsuit because I thought the water would be too cold. Well that didn't stop her. No sir. She dove head first into the pool. I even glanced away to admire our plants and plop there she went. Oh boy. Was that a reminder of how careful we need to be with kids and water.
But we are way excited for the summer fun to begin!
Bee's Game...
Kevin texted at 4:00 that he could get Baseball tickets to the Bee's game and wondered if we would want to go. I said for sure! I wrapped up scouts and we scarfed down dinner and headed to the game. It was such a beautiful night. We had seats way close. Almost a little too close. The couple behind us told us to make sure we paid attention because balls kept coming right in our area. He had just caught one right before we arrived. We were a little late getting there. I was also a little worried because this older couple had dropped several swear words in the matter of minutes of us sitting down.
But despite there vocabulary, they were a very nice older couple.
The man gave Cole the ball that he caught, and the lady gave Cole and Dailey a pizza. She went and got it and than said she could not eat it. It was almost like she bought it for them.
It was so nice. It was so relaxed a chill all around us and a lady a few rows over kept saying how cute Lucy was and asked her name. I think since baseball can be so boring we were the other fun and entertaining option to watch. Since I kept seeing other people watching us. Hey I am a big people watcher too, and I think we have cute kids, so really can ya blame them.
I guess all the other families were sitting on the grass. Which for the last inning we did also.
Too bad I didn't take any pictures until the end. This is where we had a parking ticket. We checked all over to make sure this spot was ok. It was not marked so we parked there, along with a dozen other cars. We thought we might document that there was no sign of No Parking! Just in case we fight it!
Good thing the tickets were free!!!

Lucy's Ladybug 1st Birthday Party...
We had family over on Friday night for a fun birthday evening. We had cake and ice cream. We played with a parachute and let the kids scoop ladybugs from a bucket and put them into our garden.
Lucy is our first child to dig into her birthday cake. She went right for it! She was so cute. She would pinch some cake into her fingers and than scoop it into her mouth. She was pretty clean for having a cake in front of her. She loved all her gifts and had such a great time.

Happy 1st Birthday Lu Lu....
Our little Lucy is ONE today! I can not believe it has been a year. She brings so much to our little family. She is full of life! She is our never sitting still girl. She wants to be down and right in the middle of things. She loves to make messes and gets madder than a wasp when she is left without her mom or dad.
Lucy loves balls and loves dirt and to be outside. She is an early riser and we absolutely adore her.
We Love LUCY!!!

Cole's Preschool Graduation...
Cole graduated from his little preschool class. He has really enjoyed going to school and having Mrs. Amber for his teacher. He has learned so much and never complained about going. He loved going every M W F. He was so excited to go to the bounce house after that during the program he kept asking if they were done. We were a little disappointed with his attitude but I guess he was just excited for what came next. We love Cole and are so proud of him.
Say Hello to Georgia and California...
We said Goodbye to Melanie who left to live in Georgia for a little while. Than within a few weeks later we said Goodbye to Jim and Britt who left for California. Wow our little family is extending outside of Utah. That is so crazy since we have all been right here for so long!
Cole is gonna have a brother...
We took all the kids to the ultrasound! Cole was so excited he could hardly wait. I didn't have a clue whether this baby was a girl or a boy. I thought maybe girl just because I was sick in the beginning.
However when the tech pointed out the two legs and was circling around in a certain area I knew pretty clear. She wrote on the ultrasound 100% Boy.
Cole was grinning from ear to ear.
We came out and asked what should we name him and he said Cole and I said wont that be confusing and he said. "NO. Cole 1 and Cole 2".
So funny. We can't wait for our new baby boy in October!
