What we are up to...

I thought that I better post about Kevin and I since I posted about the kids. Kevin has been working down at Nuskin lately and the last two weeks have been busier than it has been this summer.
We are enjoying our summer and are loving using our pass of all passes to get in to do some free things like Seven Peaks and Trafalga.

Lately our nights like most others have been consumed with watching the summer olympics.
We love recording it and than zipping through the commercials. Go USA.

Last Sunday we had to teach our marriage and family class we are in. We divided up the lesson and wondered how it would work out, since usually we each have a child on our laps during church.
The kids were pretty good. Especially since a nice lady in our ward occupied Dailey with some puzzles.
I was nervous teaching and so I turned the second part over to Kevin a little earlier than I was suppose to. But he is so great at teaching and he wasn't even mad after the lesson! :)

I am enjoying our garden we planted. I think soon we will have a ton of tomatoes. Can't wait to make salsa. We have had a few zucchini that we have loved grilling up on the BBQ.

Kevin is training for a half-marathon and doing great. He had a hang up when he sprained his ankle camping but he is doing so good and I am so proud of him.
I have to admit I am a little jealous. I love a good morning run. But for now I will stick to walking around the neighborhood. I am getting pretty big. Boy Baby #4 is a killer!

Lucy little...

Our active little Lucy. I thought I would throw on here an update with all the kids. Just so I can remember all that was going on at this time in our lives.

Lucy is our little climber. She climbs up anything and man can she make some big messes right now. She loves going in the bathroom and emptying all the drawers and cupboards. She can climb up the playground stairs and almost all the way up the rock climb wall to the playground.

She still eats dirt and sticks. She can say Mommy, Daddy, Ducky, Day Day, please, Thank you, she tries to repeat anything you say to her.
She still does not do well with being left with a babysitter or family for that matter. She is getting slightly better, we think.

Dailey has Attitude...

Dailey is such a sweet girl but just like any three year old. She has her moments. She likes to not listen in stores and run off and hide, whining, and at times she is not so sweet to her baby sister.
We are really trying to work on those things but hey we all have our moments. Right?

New Shoes for Cole...

My Mom would sing this song that went like this: "Coleman's got new shoes, Coleman's got new shoes, Coleman's got new shoes on today!"

So of course I sing that too.

We went and picked out some new school shoes for Cole. He loves new shoes and he is very hard on shoes. So I have a feeling they may not look so new by the time school starts.
He was so excited. He couldn't wait to go somewhere in his new shoes and have someone to show them too. We headed out to go somewhere and he ran inside to grab his empty shoe box. Later when we were heading home he took off his shoes and put them back in the box.
He also asked me if I thought that some people we didn't know noticed his new shoes.

The next morning he woke up and before he came out of his room he had dressed and put on his shoes for the day!
Love new shoes!

Dearden Family Camping trip...

We had a great time camping up Ogden Canyon. Cole really loved going down the river. Dailey only went down the river once and that was enough for her. We roasted marshmallows and ate great food. One night everyone went to bed early, so we went into our tent and played games with the kids. They loved playing games in the tent. We talked and laughed. Man do I love those kids. They also have such a great Dad.

We had a great time with the Dearden Family. Thanks for the Fun!!!

Dailey's Pool Party...

We decided to have both sides of the family over for Dailey's pool party birthday. We had a great time and it was a nice day to get wet!! Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating with us!

Dailey's Birthday Pool Party cake...

You see my Mom is amazing at everything she does. Well she came bright and early and helped me with Dailey's cake. I wanted to do a pool cake but thought it would be too hard so I opted for a beach ball. Well Nothing is too hard for my Mom and she did both!

Check out this amazing cake!!!!
