Zoo or Costco not both...
We picked Cole up from school and decided to head to the Zoo. A few days before Cole had mentioned that it would be fun to go and so I decided we would surprise him. We had our lunch boxes packed and went straight up there. It was such a nice day. We went just Me and my three children and soon to be four. I thought the walking might be good even though I was pretty sure it wouldn't put me into labor or anything.
I wanted to take them on an outing before the weather got to cool. We took our time going from animal to animal. It wasn't crowded so it made it pleasant.
Lucy was so funny with the animals. She would growl at them and she loved the seals.
We stayed for a few hours. Our plan was to go do a big Costco shopping trip after to get some basic things to stock the freezer and fridge. I should have rethought that idea and spread out the activities for another day. Did I? Nope.
We headed into costco. All three kids in the cart. That lasted for a minute. Cole and Day wanted out and so Lu did too. Lucy can finagle her way out of the seatbelt no matter how tight I make it. So as I am driving the cart she is trying to stand.
Let's just say we were a site.
Usually I only plan a shopping trip when that is the only thing on our agenda that day. Than the kids usually are quite behaved and we don't cause a scene.
Well I am filling up the cart and trying to hurry so that we can get out of the store before we have too many comments from well meaning older ladies that say "it looks like you have your hands full" all heck breaks loose with Lucy having a major melt down because she doesn't want to be carried or be in the cart. So we headed for check out. I am fighting Lucy the whole time we are in line and this man behind me asks, "Can I go in front of you since I only have one item?" Oh boy. Normally I see the logic in this. But Man, what this older gentleman did not realize is at that moment I wanted to be out of the store as much or more than he could even image. I thought to my self. Seriously. You are going to ask me that while I am fighting three kids and am 9 months pregnant.
I told him sure. But I was a little huffy about it and under my breath to the lady next to me said. Yeah I wanna be out of the store too. She smiled at me and said I have been there. She was so nice. Than I felt bad for being so bugged with the man with the batteries.
Don't worry I left Costco in tears because while trying to maneuver a loaded cart out the door. I had the other two children in a full on slap and hair pulling fight over who got to hand the lady at the door the receipt.
I knew I should have sent Kevin for that costco trip! I was so upset that I gave the kids the silent treatment for a little while on our drive home as I composed my thoughts on a little lecture I was going to give them than I looked back to see them asleep. All except for Lucy!

10 Years Later...
Kevin and I celebrated our 10 Year Anniversary on October 2nd!
The day before I spent some time writing 10 things I remember when I was dating Kevin and than 10 things that I love about him and our life together. It was so fun to reminisce.
He is such a perfect husband. I am so blessed to have him for forever!
We went and ate at The Cheesecake Factory.

36 Weeks...
At my 36 week Doctor appointment I was checked. Oh the fun. He said I was dilated to a 3 and 90% effaced. My Mom was heading out of town with some of my family to California and Kevin's parents were gone also. He led Kevin and I to believe that in the next day or two we would soon have our new baby boy in our arms.
Well Here we are a week later and my family is all back in town and Kevin's parents will be back soon and NO Baby!
We are really excited to see our new baby and can't wait. I am getting pretty uncomfortable especially at night. During the day when my back isn't aching and my leg isn't so swollen I think. No rush. He will get here when he gets here than later that night I think ok I am ready!
So this last appointment at 37 weeks. He realized he had totally put a 911 out that the baby was coming soon and than we find out I have stayed the same. No changes and he thought maybe I might go till my due date. So who knows when it will be. But we are Ready!!

Cole our Kindergartner...
Cole's first day of Kindergarten was the Thursday after Labor day. He went in for an evaluation on Tuesday where he was able to count for his teacher and say sounds of letters and rhyming words. I was out in the hall waiting for him and she came out and told me that he was ahead of the level where most kids are at starting kindergarten. She was really positive and fun.
His first day was filled with excitement. We got there and didn't have much time before the bell rang. Which was probably a good thing for me. I thought I would be this crazy prego lady who was balling but I was able to keep my emotions in check and only cried as he went in the door and we walked away from my sweet boy. A boy who couldn't wait to get inside those doors. He didn't really care much for the playground and can ya blame him, it is kinda lame.
We are on the second week of school now and he still absolutely loves it. I love when we can come home and talk about what he did that day while eating a little snack.
This week I came home from dropping him off and Kevin was still home and I had been crying. Kevin came over and hugged me. He wondered if something went wrong. Oh nothing did. I was just sad that it's the ending of a time where I had all my little ones to myself and it made me sad.
Man I love being a Mom, I am super excited for their future and all the fun that it will bring but I have felt the bitter sweet of being a Mom.
Dancing Dailey...
We put Dailey in Ballet with her cousin Hannah. It was good timing I think for her since Cole was going to start school she needed her own little thing that she would be in.
She loved going and it was pretty much the dang cutest thing I had ever seen. She looked adorable. She was so excited to go. She has a hard time pointing those toes but she would try her hardest. Oh man I sure love this little girl. I wish I knew how to post video because the video is awesome.
Brigham City Temple...
We went as a Bush fam to the Brigham city temple open house. I thought the kids would love seeing inside the temple. It was fun to go but man, I am not sure that I saw or enjoyed much of the temple. Dailey and Lucy were a little hard to try and keep track of. Lucy wanted to walk and Dailey kept walking away from us. I think it was good to take them but it certainly was some work.
We all went to a mexican restaurant after which was pretty good too.
