Just Headin to Dance...

I love when I get Dailey ready and she runs and puts these little boots on. They don't fit her they are too big. Our neighbors gave them to us. But she loves them because she can just slide them on real quick. Sometimes I really love them too. She even wanted to wear them to dance.

Cole lost his first tooth...

Cole's tooth was loose for a very long time. He didn't like to mess with it to much. One day his Dad said I just want to wiggle it. So Cole let him. He wiggled and it came right out. It shocked Cole but he was grinning from ear to ear. He was  so excited. He was excited for the tooth fairy to come but really hoping the tooth fairy would let him keep his tooth and she did!!!

I am playing catch up on my posts since I was having some trouble being able to add pictures to my blog. But this is Halloween. I wrote about it. Just never posted pics.

Hard Day...

We are all still adjusting to being a family with four kids around here. There are moments when I think it is so hard. Like when I have to dish up three meals and Dailey is asking for the yellow cup with water and Cole is asking for the blue cup no ice just water, and the newborn is crying because he wants to be fed at that same exact moment and cute little Lucy has now climbed up on the counter spilling all the drinks and stepping on the sandwich I just made.
Than I am grumpy and start to shout at them (seriously, the mom's that say they have never shouted make me sick) than I get all emotional because  I don't  want shout at them.
I want to be calm and handle the situation better and I want them to be able to handle things well too when they are dealing with a problem and how can they when they have a Mom that can't even keep her cool.
At times they all want to sit on my lap at the same time. I love this too but it sure can be hard.
Than after a long day. Kevin walks in and I just start to cry or want to when I see him.
Oh how grateful I am for him and how much he does for our family.

Baby Tays...

Sweet little Tayson turned One Month old last Tuesday! He is such a good baby. We love him so much. Can't believe a whole month has gone by. Now we are into the holidays. I love the holidays with a new baby. I feel like I am getting more sleep now or maybe I am just getting use to little sleep.
Tayson is awake and alert so much more now. That newborn constant sleepiness is less and less.
I had to post this fun pic. He doesn't poop very often. He will go a few days and than when he does poop it looks like this. Since it is so runny it just slides right out.
I love newborn poop!

Halloween 2012...

I woke up excited for the Halloween Holiday. Even though I was tired I started getting breakfast ready at 6:30. I thought it would be fun to make pancakes into ghosts. It was a flop. Only a couple turned out. It just made things messy. Than it was a rush to get all of us ready. Cole's halloween parade started at 9 and so we wanted to get there early. Well my plan was to get everyone dressed and ready and than I would shower after they were all ready. We ran out of time and guess who had to go gross to the school. Me. That got me a little grumpy which started the morning off bad.
We did get extra time though. Because Ben came and picked Cole up and took him to school. Than Kev and I finished getting ready and headed for the school. It all worked out and I got over being grumpy about my no shower morning.

Cole was so cute in the parade. We also got to see all the cousins in the parade too. Cole didn't really want to dress up but I had to convince him that all the other kids would be dressed up and than he was ok with the idea. He later told me that he thought the parade was going to be different. He thought he was going to be throwing candy. Guess I should have explained about the parade a little better.

Later in the afternoon I was so tired, and I wanted to be a fun Mom so bad and carve pumpkins (yes we had not done that yet) and frost sugar cookies I made earlier in the week, and I wanted to take the kids to both grandparents too, but I was pooped and just wanted a nap.

So what did I do. I had a good little cry over how I was such a below average mom ( I didn't even think to send a treat with Cole for all the kids in his class, like the other mom's did).
After my cry, I turned on the tv and it was sponge bob (I hate sponge bob for some reason but I didn't care) and I went and laid down.

I felt better after my nap. We got our two little pumpkins from our garden and brought them in and I thought we could paint them. The kids wanted to carve them so we did a fast carve job and than it was time to trick or treat. It wasn't how I pictured the day but it turned out ok and sometimes a nap and a good cry makes everything better!

Paternity Leave...

Kevin had three weeks of paternity leave from work. He took two weeks off. And well we had a great time. The first week was while we were in the hospital and than getting home and getting settled as a family with four kids. The following week Kev helped out a ton and did a few projects that needed to be done around the house.
We had some fun in there too. We went to the new Scheels store and went out to lunch.
It has been nice to have him home especially to help with little Lu to give her the love and attention she needed with a new baby coming into the picture.
