Summer Catch up in pics...

Lucy turned 2 back in May. She had a Dora cake.
The first week of June it was the Father and Son's Campout and so Grandpa, Ethan, Cole, and Kev went to our Stake property.
This boy Loves to camp and come home dirty.

We went to a Bee's Game on a nice June Summer night.
This is waiting for Fireworks on the 4th of July.

We took the kids to Stake Lagoon Day and they Loved it!!!
The kids have loved playing on the tramp all summer long. They do the classic sprinkler under the tramp and it has kept them entertained for hours.
Wheeler Farm with the Dearden's!  I think this is back in June when Lorrie came to visit.
We got this lemonade stand from a garage sale. It kept blowing over on a windy day so the kids put their bikes in front to stop it from tipping. There customers were Dad and Grandpa after they came home from work.
                                                             Dearden Boys!
Cole has played a lot with his two buddies from school. This is a pic of Cole at his friends house.
We went and ate at The Pie for dinner on Dailey's birthday. Before dinner we actually grabbed cupcakes and ate them. Kind of fun! After we came out and their is a big fountain and we saw a kids swimming in it. We thought wow, what is that kid doing. Than we saw no signs posted and a wading are so we went for it too. Our kids got completely in the water and we got in two our knees.
Than we came home for our ward carnival that Dailey was pretty excited it was on her birthday!

Here it is The End of Summer...

Here it is the end of summer and I haven't even posted anything all summer long.
I am a bit sad that it has just blown right by. However we still have a few weeks left so I am bound to make them GREAT! And pack them with fun and full of memories for my little family.

Cole will be heading off to 1st Grade and I am filled with mixed emotions about that. I have really LOVED having all my little ones to myself. Even with Kindergarten I felt I still got to spend quite a bit of time.
Miss Dailey will be heading off to Preschool. She is so social and fun she will do great! But Oh I have really loved this time in my life.
Don't get me wrong I am super excited for whats to come!!!

But for now I better head off and pack for BEAR LAKE with THE BUSHES!!!!

Cole and the Batting Cages...

This is Cole's second season in Baseball and these Baseball people take it serious. His Coach has had the team at the batting cages twice. The first time he went the balls were coming in pretty fast and Cole got hit by a ball. He came home with a pretty good bruise.
The next time they held practice there Cole Did Not want to go. He was afraid he was going to get hit again. Well we made him go. After practice Cole and I were driving home and he said "Mom guess what? I said a prayer that I wouldn't get hit by the ball and I Didn't"!
I thought that was so great that he could know that he could pray and Heavenly Father would help him.

Family Pictures...

Little Lu gave us her attitude and was a bit hard to get to smile.
Does Tayson look like he is planking in this picture?
Tayson had a hard time sitting up and so don't worry my thumb is in this pic.

A couple of saturdays ago we went and got our pictures taken by a girl I went to high school with. She does an amazing job. However, I am just not photogenic. I get in front of a camera and I cant keep my mouth closed. Oh well. Kevin and the kids look great!
This was a busy weekend and I put off picking what we should all wear until the night before. Not a good idea. Than it turned into a crazy morning. I thought I could get the kids all ready by myself and kevin came home from a job and well it was time to be leaving. So I went with recycled hair.
I guess theres always next time. Man I never knew how much work family photos could be for a Mom.
Thanks Mom for taking the time to schedule and do family photos. At one point, while getting ready, I about lost it. I had to tell Kevin to Thank me for getting everyone ready and doing this ( I needed a little praise from him to keep me going and to not throw in the towel). I am a nut like that but seriously. Getting everyone ready in just the right time of not too early they pull out their bows in their hair and get peanut butter stains on their shirts and not too late so we show up on time.
The place we went to was a beautiful backyard in Salt Lake.

Snapshot of Our Life...

I saw this on a blog where they put some of their day to day things they are doing and what their kids are up to and I thought I would post something like that today. It's all for me to read when I am old!

Coleman- 6 years old

He is growing up so fast. He loves to watch kickin it and Power Rangers. He just started Baseball and is on the Rock Hounds. He has two really good buddies in his Kindergarten class. They get along really well. He plays with them at least twice a week. He is in Love with making weapons out of duct tape. His room smells like duct tape. He knows how to make him a PB&J sandwich.
He is on reading Level D at school and is doing well. He doesn't love to read he prefers doing math problems. Cole hates to go to church. Once he is there he likes it. I think it it the clothes he doesn't like to get all dressed up. Cole loves strawberries and always ask for them at lunch.
Cole always wakes up in a good mood(he gets it from his Dad, not from me) he is usually always in a good mood!

Dailey- 3 years old

She loves to make up songs and will go and sing them in her room or in the car. She likes to color and loves getting blank notepads and coloring all over them. She Loves My little Ponies. She screams when I do her hair even when I haven't even started brushing her hair. She wants to marry Cole when she grows up. She is in dance but really likes the idea of her being on stage and that she got flowers after.
She likes to play like she is the babysitter when we play with her dolls.
She loves lounging around in her comfy jammies(she would all day if I let her)
She plays well with Cole. She will be the girl to run up and get everyone a snack. She loves to snack.
She hates Berries especially strawberries. Dailey loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is so sweet.

Lucy- 23 Months

She loves the song Twinkle Twinkle and if you go to sing another song she flips out and yells TWINKLE at you until you sing that one again. The other day she did ask for the "Proud of you" song.
If you ask her if she is poopy she says "No, Tayson poopy" When she Toots she says Poop.
She can have a tantrum that last longer than all my kids combined. She wakes up once a night in a raging fit and we can't calm her down. If she gets mad enough she will put her finger down her throat and make herself throw up. Seriously, we clean up throw up at least once or twice a week. When we leave her with grandparents or babysitters she usually always throws up.
She is a hard little girl but she is so dang cute. She makes us laugh.

Tayson- 6 Months

He is a sweet little baby. He Loves to watch his brother and sisters. They can make him laugh so hard. He is very ticklish. He has had a lot to deal with in his short life. RSV at 4 months old and than he had a bad allergic reaction. He also has had a pretty flat head because he only likes to be on one side. But we are working with him and doing neck exercises to strengthen his head and neck.
Despite all that he is such a pretty easy going baby. He smiles a ton and loves grabbing everything in sight.

The kids run and hide when they hear our garage door open, that means DAd is home. Kevin will come in and kiss me and than he will pretend like he can't find them anywhere till they giggle and give themselves away.
We try to have FHE on Monday nights it is really quick, sometimes only lasting a total of 5 minutes with song and prayers and off to get our treat.
We have been playing a lot of sorry and dice games.
We love to play on the tramp and swing set.
Sundays we go to our 11:00 church and than after church we rotate who's family we go to for sunday dinner. one week it will be with the Dearden family and the next it will be with the Bush family.

Lucy's Cyst was removed...

On Monday April 1st we took Lucy in to Primary Children's Where they did an outpatient surgery and a plastic surgeon removed her cyst on her chin. The dermatologist had removed this once before and told us if it came back we would need to go this route. So we took her in for this little surgery.
I was pretty nervous taking in one of my kids and putting them under anesthetic at such a young age. They gave her an oral dose of medicine that was suppose to help make her a little sleepy before they came and took her away from us. When I had to give her to the doctor. She went ok at first because she was so droggy and than she realized what was happening and started screaming. I started crying too and than they shut the doors. It was so hard. I wanted so badly to be with her. Kevin hugged me and took me to the waiting room where we sat with all the other patients families. Than they finally called 1 parent for Lucy and I got to go back to the recovery room. When I got there she was freaking out and I felt so bad. She was just coming out of the anesthetic and she was pretty upset. I sat in a rocking chair trying to help wake her up and realize I was there with her. I sat and sang twinkle twinkle little star. Her favorite song. She kept yelling for milk. They said they could give her apple juice but she just wanted milk. So to calm her down they got her a sippy of milk and she calmed down a bit.
Than they moved her over to the other recovery room where they let Kevin come in and join us.

Egg Drop..

Cole's school did an egg drop this week. The night before we were hunting around the house deciding what we would put the egg in. Than Kevin took Cole to baseball practice. I called asking them to stop at the store for bandaids for Lucy's chin. They came home with bubble wrap and fancy duck tape. ok not fancy but duct tape with skulls on it. I am not a fan of skulls but that is what the kids seem to like.
Here I was going to not spend money on it and they came home with supplies for it. Ha. ha.
They had a great time putting it together. They had it all wrapped and Cole ran and got his parachute guy to go on top. The entire time he kept saying "I hope I win" over and over.
