4th of July evening...

We went to a fourth of july party at a cabin in wallsburg. It was beautiful! They had a little lake where we hopped into a little paddle boat and went around a small lake and we ate yummy food and watched some fireworks while the kids played on bounce houses. It was a good time.

Trek..

Kevin is in the stake Young Men's presidency so we were able to go up and experience the trek adventure as leaders. We were assigned to help with transpiration of equipment and also helped with food. It was a big job and kept us very busy and dirty.
It was so nice of family to take such good care of our kids while we were gone. They were great to offer and to keep them for three days!

Baby Number 5...

We found out the gender of baby number 5!
                                                                     A Girl!!!
We are so excited to have another little girl in the family! Cole may have been slightly disappointed but mostly because he thought that meant he didn't get bunk beds.

Brighton 2014...

We took our Brighton trip in June this year and it was fun to go up at a different time than usual.
There were some spots with snow still! We usually do the walk around the lake and hang out but this time we hiked up a trail. I can't remember if it was called twin lakes or not but it was fun all the kids did well at hiking up. We forgot Lucy's shoes so she only had flip flops so we had to carry her quite a bit. On the way down we had family help us carry her since I am pregnant and some spots got a little tricky. We had a great time!

Summer We Love you...

Just hanging out at the Daybreak Lake!

Dearden Family Campout and Boating...

The Sigler's planned a campout/boating trip for Chelsea's birthday. It just happened to be the last day of school for summer! It was a great way to kick off our Summer! We had so much fun!
The kids loved the tube and could have done it forever!
The kids were all really brave on the tube. When the boat was stopped Dailey leaned over to put her hand in the water and she fell in! It scared her and Kev jumped in to help calm her down!
Thanks Dearden's for the fun!

Cole's End of School Awards...

Coleman earned his Coyote Pride Award. This is an award that they work on throughout the entire year and he had to do a lot of reading and passing off of many of the academic and physical goals for this. He worked really hard and we are proud of him!

We were also excited when they gave him a special award for Leadership. They only award it to one child in each class and Cole got it for his class!
He was beaming!
Kevin asked him why he thought he got that award and he said " because I get along with everyone"

The last day he also got a class award and it was for being the peacemaker in the class. That day he ran around the house yelling I'm a peacemaker! It was pretty funny!
