Gardner Village and Grandma's Birthday...

Grandma Bush loves Gardner Village and wanted to go with all of the kids and grandkids. So we went on her birthday! I love going and walking around the shops even though with kids we never really see to much but it is always a good time!
We sure love Grandma!!!

Cougar's first home game of the season..

We have been getting BYU season tickets for quite a few years with Kevin's Mom and Dad and Brother. This is the first year in a while that we didn't get tickets. We thought it would be ok since our kids our young and sometimes it is a lot of work to go. But this year we have noticed we do enjoy it even though it takes quite a bit of effort to make it to the games and wrestle the kids while we are there.

Kevin and Cole got the Bogle's tickets and the game was on September 11th so the team had special helmets and did a few extra stuff on that day! I think next year we will be buying the season tickets again because well we love it! That is before it gets cold. Those games in late October and November can be some cold ones!

But we love the memories!! This game was on a Thursday night and Cole came home so excited to tell me all about it!

The Girls and Tumbling...

We put Dailey and Lucy in tumbling. It is in a ladies basement. Dailey can't start yet because of her foot. Lucy had her first day of it. She was very nervous and didn't want to leave our side for the first 15 minutes. She saw how fun it was and joined in.

Dailey's First Day of Kindergarten...

Dailey was so excited to go to Kindergarten! She is in the morning class and she had a great first day! She just loves it! Her cute cousin is in the other morning class and they get to see each other at school!
Dailey has Miss. McIntyre as her teacher and has really loved having her as her teacher.

It has been so different with Dailey in school. Lucy now takes on the roll of older sister here at home for a few hours. We all miss Dailey while she is gone. She is a really sweet girl. She brings back prizes from school to give to her sister and brother.

Dailey loves to sit down and do her homework. She enjoys it! It may not come as easy for her but she really loves to sit down and write her letters and we have been working on her site words.
The teacher talked to me about testing her for speech. She has a hard time saying some of the sounds of the letters and they think she would benefit from the going to the speech therapist at the school.
It will be fun to see how she grows and watch her throughout this school year.
We sure love her!

Dailey and her broken foot...

This little girl was playing tag with Tayson and Lucy at the school while we were taking pictures of Cole's first day of school. She tripped and she fractured her metatarsol bone in her foot. We didn't think anything was wrong. She was crying and we told her to get up but she wouldn't walk on it. Kevin carried her to the car. He went off to work and she sat on our couch and cried on and off for a few hours. I decided to take her in and sure enough it was broken. It is hard sometimes to know if kids are really hurt or not.
She wore the splint for a week and than they gave her this shoe to wear. The shoe didn't fit very well so we ended up wearing it for 2 weeks and than let her take it off. She goes back to check on it soon. So hopefully it has healed!

Cole's First Day of Second Grade...

This boy was excited to start school! Even if he would say otherwise. We had a great time back to school shopping for clothes and school supplies. He took a football the first day to school and it had to be in our pics too.

His teacher is Mrs. Chandler and she is actually in our ward as well. He started out knowing two little buddies in his class. Spencer and a boy named Gustavo. All his other little buddies all are in different classes. He loved his first week! We are now a few weeks in and he still loves it! He is learning a lot and becoming a great reader!

Double the Trouble and with Scissors...

I usually don't have to worry too much about these two but I was in the kitchen chopping up tomatoes from our garden to make some tomato sauce and these two wanted to cut out some things they printed from the computer. I told them that would be ok and the next thing I know Dailey comes in and said they were doing haircuts! I couldn't believe it! I thought Dailey was old enough to know better! But it was in fact her idea! Lucy told me, "it was Dailey's idea" which I wasn't for sure since she blames things on everyone! :)
I got a little upset but tried to hold it together and instead of yelling I started to tear up and so did the girls. They started bawling! They both kept saying sorry and we had a talk about scissors and who gives them haircuts.
Lucy kept saying is Daddy gonna be mad and all day kept apologizing for it!
We had Aunt Amber to the rescue and went a couple days later to get them some haircuts!
