Happy 35th Birthday to Kevin...

                                                            Kevin turned 35 today!
We are so excited to celebrate with this guy! He is the best Husband and Dad anyone could ask for! He absolutely loves being with his kids and is so hands on in their lives. He makes it a priority to know what is going on with school and friends and everything in each of their lives. He never wants to miss out on anything they are doing. No one can make my kids laugh like their DAD can! I had no idea what a gem I was marrying 12 years ago!
He is my best friend and he is as equally great as a husband! He is so good to me and I am so grateful to his parents for raising such a great Man!

For a birthday gift we got a hoop off of KSL. We didn't want to spend too much on a portable hoop. One day we would like an actual court but thought for now this would work. Well he asked his Dad to go and pick it up. Which we are so grateful to Alvin for his willingness to go and spend his whole night doing.
The hoop needed a new rim since it was bent so Kev got one and spent last night putting it on and it still is bending. So he is hoping to be able to fix it!

Happy Birthday to the best guy Ever!

Halloween 2014...

We went to the school Halloween parade and watched Cole and Dailey march around! Than later that night went to the Bush family Halloween party. Which was so fun! Liz and Andy gave prizes for those who dressed up and who participated in the games and the monster mash dance party!
The next day was Halloween! We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Dearden and than ate at the Meltyway. We usually eat dinner in a pumpkin but skipped it this year due to time.
That night Cole went with Braden, MacRae, Spencer, Campbell, Morgan, Abby, Dailey, and Tayson and Lucy trick or treating. Actually Dailey and Lu and Tays hit about four or five houses and were done trick or treating. While all the others stayed out and hit so many houses! Even little Abby kept up with those big kids. Dailey still is limping so it was pretty rough but truthfully I don't think my kids enjoy trick or treating. I think they enjoy passing out the candy more!

They stopped at Braden's house for drinks and than headed out for a bit after and than went home. They all met again to go to the Jaffa's haunted house. Even Dailey went!

Dailey is our Captain of Character...

Dailey got the Captain of Character Award in her class. They give one student from every class once a month this award and she got it for October!
Her teacher talked about how she gets along with everyone and always has a smile on her face and helps others in her classroom!
Way to go Day!

Dailey gets her cast off..

This cute little girl has started Kindergarten with a broken foot followed by a broken leg. She has hobbled to and from school for the last 2 1/2 months and has really done pretty well with it all.
She even fell down Grandma and Grandpa's stairs with the cast on when she lost her footing at the top of the stairs. She now has the dang thing off and was hobbling around as if it was still on for a week after. Now it has been two weeks so we took her to tumbling and the last five minutes she hurt the bottom of her foot and now is back to not walking on it!
Oh boy! Has it been a crazy few months!

Early Trick or Treating...

We did a little trick or treating a week early! We have some neighbors in our ward who have a four year old little boy who is in Dailey's primary class who has had cancer since he was 18 months old. The doctors gave him a few days left to live and so the family planned a week of holidays for him to experience and have before he passed away. Since we lived so close he came to our house. We carved pumpkins and had them lit when he came to our house. Our kids were excited to give him a teat along with some hot wheels cars! Than we were able to join in and walk with him!

This sweet little boy passed away the following week after his holiday festivities. Our kids have been praying for him and his family since he got sick and it has been a neat experience to witness the families faith and love through it all. They had so many long days in the hospital and so many when they were home just filled with all the things they had to do to keep up with medication and everything for their boy and through it all I watched as they never wavered in their testimony and fulfilled their church callings. She was out delivering visiting teaching assignments the day she had to drive to Seattle for another treatment. They have been such examples to me and my family and I am so grateful to have been able to know this little boy and their family!

Fall Break...

We went up the canyon during Fall Break. Cole had a rock collection he needed to get rocks for so we went up to Snowbird and gathered rocks and walked around and played at the playground that was up there!
We did Chick Fa La and came back down and hung out watching the BYU game at Grandma and Grandpa Dearden's house!

Random Day to Day things...

Tayson got his haircut and we couldn't believe he didn't move a muscle. It was the craziest thing to see a 2 year old just sit so still for a haircut!

I helped in Cole's class and than Dailey and I stayed for lunch with Cole!

Playing the wii together! Tayson thinking he is playing and he was so focused!

                                                                        Outside fun!
Cole and Dailey both drew pictures for their Reflections at school.
Tayson in time out. We have some biting and hitting issues along with shouting and talking back.
Cole and a few buddies playing football in our backyard.
