With our new Baby Boy arriving in October it was a must to trade up the Jeep Grand Cherokee for something that could fit four kids. Went with the Honda Odyssey and are loving it.
Cole was so fun to take car shopping he knew exactly what he wanted.
-backseat
-automatic doors
-dvd player
He was so excited to be in the backseat. We thought Dailey would love the back seat too but she prefers to be up by Lucy.
I said I never wanted and would not own a mini van but seriously what was I thinking. It has been the nicest thing ever!
It is not a workout to go to the store anymore. I use to have to lift Dailey and Lucy into the jeep. Now Cole and Dailey climb in and Cole will buckle Dailey and than go buckle himself. Than I just pop Lucy into her seat. It is awesome. I love so many things about this new van. Who would have thought. Me in a mini van!!!

Monday FHE...
We headed out to baseball to remember there was no practice. So we grabbed some tacos from Taco Time and headed to my parents to pick up our stroller we left there.
We got there and stayed for a little FHE night with Grandma. The kids helped her plant her garden. They were so cute and so was she. She didn't mind that they were planting the pea seeds all on top of each other. She is so patient and just loves being with them. I love watching her with my kids. She teaches me how to be patient and enjoy the time I have with them.
Lucy kept eating dirt by the handfuls. Oh that girl! Oh and we don't usually let Daileyu run around in her underwear but she had an accident because she couldn't open the door to get back inside and we didn't have any extra pants!

Women's Conference...
It has been a tradition for a while now that the girls in my family try to go to BYU Women's Conference. We love going with all the girls and hanging out and going to uplifting talks. We tease the boys that it is a business trip or training that we must go to. It is a big sacrifice for our husbands to get time off work and stay with our kids. I wasn't sure I would be able to go. But Kevin made it work. He worked really hard throughout the week so that I could go. He also worked from home those two days and even had his parents come out and help for a little while too. I love him so much and am so grateful he is so willing to make it work so that I can go to this. Of course every year it doesn't always work for all the girls due to a nursing baby or this or that. But it is so fun. The pictures above are at the concert on Thursday night where Michael McLean performed and also Hillary Weeks who has an amazing voice. I really liked this poem above also.
Easter Pics...
We had a great Easter. I am finally getting around to posting about it. We did a Bush family easter egg hunt and easter egg roll contest on saturday and than sunday did the Dearden easter egg hunt. Before we headed to church the kids hunted for their baskets which the bunny hid throughout the house. We also sat down and watched a video on the lds.org about Christ and the Resurrection. Coleman asked a few questions and you could feel of his sweet spirit as we watched of the video. Dailey didn't seem to understand but she came home from nursery and kept telling us of the "big rock" she colored she showed us here picture and it was the tomb where the Savior was laid to rest.
These are pictures of Cole and Dailey sleeping in the tent. The night before Easter. Coleman was dead set on catching the Easter Bunny. I think us setting traps for the Leprechaun on St. Patricks Day was still in his head and he wanted to capture the Bunny. We told him he didn't need to because the Bunny brought him things where the Leprechaun was trying to play tricks and look for gold. But that didn't stop him from putting out his weapons and being on guard. He is so funny!

Baseball...
We signed Cole up for Baseball. We put him in this league that is super organized and takes it pretty dang serious. They had a meeting for the team mom's. Which I was volunteered to be. They even hold practice twice a week. Someone please remind them they are 5 year olds. Ha. ha. But Cole loves it!! We went to a field clean up day (yes they have the players come clean the field and get them ready) and they had a bunch of baseball equipment that was used out on a table for anyone to have. We walked away with two bats and a batting helmet and a mitt and batting glove. We scored big!
Last week was the first practice and than we have had two other practices since. When I tell him it's practice Cole runs to get ready. Grabs all his gear and even puts on his shoes. Usually if I say we are heading out it takes this kid sometime. He dinks around for awhile. Not when it's practice. So far he loves it we will see how long it lasts! We will have to post pics of him in uniform.
