Cole went to his first friend party! Not a cousin this time but a friend party, and I was a little emotional. I didn't cry or anything but as I made him stand their and take these pictures all I could think was:Where does the time go. Both he and Dailey have changed so much and are getting so tall. I feel like I blink and they are in a different stage and learning and doing so much more than they did the day before. It's just crazy. He is four and I have never really had him go play with a neighbor kid. He usually just goes down the street and plays with his cousin Mo. But this time I drilled him on being polite and not trying to open all the presents but standing back. Oh the things you hope your child is doing or not doing at the birthday party. ha. ha.
But how excited he was to go to this and to pick out the gift all himself was really fun for him too. I know this is just the beginning of many more birthday parties to take him too but I just loved picking him up and hearing about how much fun he had.
