We saw the other dermatologist and he said it was a cyst. He wanted to take a biopsy and test it to make sure everything was ok. He was very great, and he reassured me that's all he thought it was. He left and came back with two staff members and they held Lucy's hands and legs while I held her head. He numbed her first. Which was really sad. She was screaming. Blood was coming out. Than he took another little thing that made a puncture in it and all of a sudden this white stuff just started squirting out of it. It was pretty gross. It just kept coming and coming out. The doctor was so great. Though and I was really trying not to freak out. Because I was the one holding her head. But I could not believe all the stuff that came out. He put it in a biopsy container. Than after they got all the stuff out, he started to sew her up. She got a little stitch. She is our first child to have stitches! The Doctor was great. He said ok Mom you can pick her up and I picked her up and hugged her. Poor girl. The whole time her little eyes looked at me wondering why I wasn't helping her. Oh it was so sad. But she did great and we go back in a week to get the stitches out and to find out results. The doctor thought the cyst should now go away on it's own but if it doesn't we would need to see a plastic surgeon. He said it was pretty deep. Hopefully it just heals up and goes away now.
