Whitley Faye Dearden...

We decided to be induced on Tuesday December 2nd with our little Whitley!
We had a busy week planned with a choir concert for Cole on Thursday night and his baptism on Saturday. So we took the doctor up on his suggestion of being induced since we had a busy week planned and the other fact that I WAS DONE being PREGNANT! I tried to enjoy this last pregnancy but the truth is the last few months were hard to enjoy!
My legs were massively swollen and due to my vericose veins my legs just killed everyday.
The Dearden's came straight over and finished getting our kids ready and Rachel got our kids off to school while they stayed with the other two.  We got to the hospital at 7:30 and got all checked in and finally Dr. Nichols came and broke my water at 8:45.
When my water broke it went everywhere it was crazy!
They gave me small doses of pottosin. I think they wanted me to have the baby on my doctors lunch break. We were at Riverton Hospital and my doctor is at Jordan Valley.

I decided to go natural again with this baby since I had such a good experience with Tayson's delivery.
Well this delivery was actually harder than Tayson's and I started to second guess my decision to go natural and thought I wouldn't be able to do it! It took a lot longer than I thought it was going to take and I think it's because with Tay's I was already in labor!
I started to have a really hard time with handling the contractions. From 11:45-12;45  I was having some pretty intense contractions and was thinking wow I really want that epidural!
I was getting weak and nauseous and thought I might pass out from the pain. At 1:00 I was ready to push. I was feeling so much pressure and I told them I needed to push. The nurse told me not to push and called for the doctor. She told me to blow and not to push. I said I am sorry but I gotta push. She realized that this baby was coming so she called for a doctor to come quick any doctor. She shouted into her pager that she was going to be delivering this baby. At that moment my doctor walked in and put on a gown. I gave two pushes and little Whitley was born!

She weighed 7lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long!  She is beautiful and we love her to pieces!

I felt so good later that day and so the next day we went home!
