It has been non stop parties since Jim got home. We have loved it.
Jimmy invited all the nephews over for a sleep over. Cole was included with the older boys. We actually let him pick if he wanted to go with the older boys or go with the girl cousins his age to their sleep over. He picked with the boys. He was so darn excited to go and had his spiderman back pack packed before we even blinked an eye.
This was Jimmy's second night home and we all ate at Leatherby's and than we went and dropped him off at my parents house. We got him all set up for his sleep over and than left.
The next morning I went over to pick him up a little too early. So I tried to stand back and just watch as they did their breakfast and than they were going to have an air soft gun war.
Cole didn't bring anything for this but the other little boys were prepared.
It was so cute to see the older ones treat Cole so good. His cousin Jake let him borrow pants, jacket, goggles, and a hat so he would be covered. He told him it is like armor so if he got hit it would protect him.
So I let him go out and play. Even though I was a little nervous for him.
Later, I was inside and Cole came in all calm and said where is my shorts mom and I told him and asked if he was done playing he said yes and went to change. Than Jimmy came in to check on him and asked if he was ok. I said yes why? He said he got hit. Than Cole showed me where on his knee he had a welt. He didn't even tell me he got hit. I told him he was very brave and couldn't believe he didn't even cry. He said yes I did cry. I cried on the side of the house coming in so the other boys would not know. Than he said Mom " Jake told me my clothes were like armor and I would be protected." What a cute heart!
These little boys followed Jimmy around where ever he went. They were like little ducks. Man do they ever adore their Uncle Jimmy.
