Than it kept increasing and getting worse. I didn't know what to do. Luckily I was already over at my parents so they took care of my kids while I was not feeling good. By about noon I could not stand the pain any longer. My mom called Kevin and he was coming over to take me to the ER. I asked Jimmy and my Dad for a blessing. While they were giving it to me I felt like throwing up and needed the blessing to end so I could run to the bathroom.
The entire time I kept praying that the pain would go away because we had a busy weekend and Lucy's blessing was already scheduled.
Well we got to the ER we had a nice doctor named Dr. May and we saw him for a minute and than he left and I threw up again from the pain and than I felt GREAT. No pain. NOTHING.
We waited for awhile and he came back and I explained that I know it's crazy but I feel great now. I didn't want to do further testing because well I had PLANS. I didn't want this to ruin my weekend. He was so nice gave us our options and I said I know I seem like a crazy lady. One minute in dyer pain and the next fine. I really wanted to explain about the blessing and let him know I wasn't crazy. It was the power of the priesthood but I didn't.
Anyway we went home and I had no pain or any symptoms... for 11 Days.
Than Wednesday July 13th I had a normal morning. I did a little work out with the kids we did pushups, sit ups and some kick boxing. I felt great. Than 9:30 rolls around and I had pooped twice and than I felt the pain the lower right side again. I started to get really scared because well this is just how I felt that Friday. I called my OBGYN thinking maybe it was a bladder infection. They got me an appt. at 11. I sent my kids down to my good sister in law. Than Kevin came home and met me to take me to the doctor. At this point I was in a ton of pain. We got to the office and I could not even sit in the waiting room. I went back in their bathroom and threw up from the pain.
They had Dr. Nickols come in and look at me and he said you have to go down to the ER. I felt like I was ready to pass out from the pain. They wheeled me down to the ER and got me checked in and we were blessed to have the same on call doctor we had before.
I threw up again and than they took me to do a CT scan. I was in so much pain they couldn't get the IV in fast enough for me. Later the doctor came back and said it was kidney stones.
Crazy things. They gave us pain pills and medicine to help my muscles relax so I could try and pass the stone. And than we scheduled with a urologist for the next day.
The doctor wasn't sure if it was the same kidney stone or a new one. Most likely the same one and I hadn't passed it.
I have heard so many different reasons why you get stones. Guess I won't know why. But I am hoping I passed it because I do not ever want to go threw that pain again.
